Bitcoin was registered in 2008 and made available for the first time in 2009. The registration name for Bitcoin was Satoshi Nakamoto, but most market analysts agree that the name was likely fabricated and doesn’t represent that of a real individual. In any event, Bitcoin has become the most popular and widely used form of cryptocurrency on the market today.
The obverse of all 1 oz Proof Bitcoin Guardian Silver Rounds includes the image of the Bitcoin symbol. It reflects that of the US Dollar in appearance, with a capital “B” replacing the “S” with two vertical lines struck through it. The background field includes computer code text, with engravings that reflect the popular use of the currency as a “peer to peer” form of payment.
On the reverse of the Bitcoin Guardian Silver Coin is the design of the “Guardian” figure. It is a left-profile portrait of a human figure that is figureless and faceless in detail. There are a set of rays coming from the face along with engravings of the weight, purity, and metal content of the round. The name of the production mint, Anonymous Mint, is also featured on this face of the round.
All 1 oz Proof Bitcoin Guardian Silver Rounds are available in proof condition. Silver rounds in proof condition include matte finishes combined with deeply mirrored backgrounds, providing great contrast between the design facets of the product.
All Bitcoin Guardian Silver Rounds are available from Anonymous Mint. The rounds have beautiful edge lettering and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Anonymous Mint is a private American minting company, with Julie Lindquist as the lead coin designer.
